UNombhekaphetsheya is a pipe smoked by Xhosa women in the Eastern Cape. The painting was inspired by a jazz song “UNombhekaphetsheya, Inqawe yaseGcuwa, uzuyiphathel’ intokazi”. EGcuwa is a Xhosa name for Butterworth, in the Eastern Cape. It is available in various sizes, and the largest size is 160cmX90cm.
