Victoria Mxenge Remembered: 40 Years On
Amidst the endemic assassination of activists, she was not deterred. She mustered the courage to call the murders “dastardly acts of cowardice” and that the murdered four must “tell [their] grandfather [that] we are coming because we are prepared to die for Africa”.
She “paid the supreme price for defending the rights of the oppressed South Africans to exist in conditions of freedom, justice, peace and democracy”. – The Presidency South Africa
